STORM WATER MANAGEMENT & DESIGN
Storm water is a natural resource which effects all of our communities and can be more than inconvenient. When storm water management is ignored or neglected the effects can impact our finances, our comfort, safety or even our lives. Storm water runoff is simply the response of a watershed to rainfall. SEWER & WATER SYSTEMS
Potable water and sanitary sewers are essential to the function of our communities and to the protection of our health and the health of the environment. VonArx Engineering focuses on the conveyance of those essential community services. Our focus on conveyance and delivery provides the public and private providers and users with effective solutions and good service. We leverage our expertise and the insight gained from our personal relationships with our clients, the regulating agencies and water resource providers to develop effective solutions. Potable water and waste water are part of the water cycle and a natural resource that is essential to our communities and our lives. Our experienced team of engineers provide project design for sanitary sewer projects including gravity sewer extensions, low pressure sewer systems, public force main and lift station design, HYDRA analysis, St. Louis MSD regulations, Missouri DNR regulations, combined sewer separation. We have delivered many water solutions to public and private clients including main extensions, pressure reducing valves, booster pumps, deep wells, well pump upgrade and replacement, system analysis and pressure improvements using KYPIPE, construction plans and inspection. We have established relationships with Missouri American Water, Municipal Systems and Public Water Supply Districts. STRUCTURAL INSPECTIONS
Our homes are valued spaces where we invest our resources to live our lives and form our communities. Purchasing a home is a large expense that should be approached carefully and completed with thorough diligence. Purchasing a home involves many people beyond just the buyer and seller. It usually includes at least one realtor, the lender, and other professionals to help the buyer perform their due diligence and gain confidence that they are making sound decisions. In addition to appraisers, home inspectors, and surveyors, an engineer is often needed to assess the structural condition of the residence or certify that it is on a permanent foundation. We provide structural assessments for foundations, retaining walls and structures and permanent foundation certifications for manufactured housing. Our engineers have 25 years of experience with residential foundation and structures.
The practice of structural engineering insures that our property is safely constructed. VonArx Engineering performs structural assessments of the condition of residential real estate providing needed advice for both buyers and sellers relative to the condition of their home. We typically perform a visual inspection of the condition of the residence and provide an assessment report with recommendations. Our reports are instrumental in the decision-making process and facilitate the smooth transaction of real estate. Giving buyers peace-of-mind that their new home is sound and a safe space for their family and sellers confidence that to pursue their new home.
We also perform certifications for manufactured home foundations relative to FHA/VA and other government loan programs. We provide this essential service to lenders, realtors and consumers so that they can meet the requirements of their loan program. We perform a site inspection of each property and evaluate the conditions of the foundation to insure that it is in compliance with HUD guidelines. If the property meets the requirements then we prepare a report containing the necessary data and certifications to facilitate the closing of your loan. If not, we immediately provide a deficiency letter outlining the necessary repairs for the property to become compliant. We even suggest contractors that can perform the work. Once the repairs are made we perform another inspection and issue the report.
