This 15.62-acre multifamily development in Festus, Missouri, includes 200 apartment units across nine residential buildings, along with a fitness center, pool, covered parking, and supporting site improvements. The project successfully navigated a zoning process involving neighborhood opposition.
VonArx Engineering provided site design services, including roadway and utility design, sanitary sewer, water main, grading, stormwater improvements, and retaining wall solutions, while coordinating permitting with the City of Festus, MODOT, Missouri DNR, Glaize Creek Sewer District, PWSD C-1, and utility providers.
With more than 80 feet of elevation change across the site, the design incorporated strategic grading and retaining walls to create an efficient and functional development layout.
