For this project, VonArx Engineering provided site design along with stormwater BMP and detention basin design and analysis to support a 7,000-square-foot building addition. We evaluated the existing stormwater system and developed a solution that allowed it to remain in use.
By removing select parking areas and introducing pervious pavement, we offset the added impervious surface from the expansion, eliminating the need for major new stormwater infrastructure.
Our scope included preliminary design, detailed stormwater analysis, construction documents, and coordination of permits with MSD and the City of Fenton.
